Looking forward to playing War Chest with the new Siege expansion. This expansion adds trebuchets and fortified locations and some other goodies!
Re-learning Ecos from @alderac. Looking forward to streaming it real soon. Digging the little token holders and the chunky element tiles. Have you played this one? What did you think?
Hallertau from designer Uwe Rosenberg. There’s farming! Worker placement! Bonus scoring cards! Crops! Goods! Sowing! Sheep! Sounds a lot like Rosenberg’s other games, right? Not sure how I feel about it but I am enjoying quite a bit.
New episode of @FiveByGames! Check it out! 5 segments in about 25 minutes! Is it the perfect lunch time board game podcast? Yes, yes it its ;)
Played Unmatched: Cobble & Fog with @lorenalovesgames today. Wow, really digging this miniature fighting game from @restorationgames. The included four characters (Dracula, Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde, and the invisible man) all have their own power, card decks, and play styles which seem to work really well together.
It was a fun day streaming on Twitch for Lorena’s @lorenalovesgames birthday. We played a bunch of games, raised some money for our local children’s hospital, and spent some time with the very friendly and supportive Twitch board game community.
